Most requests will be funded on a one-year basis. Some grantees doing Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) work will be offered funds for a second year. Since we understand the desire to have certainty of funds for a longer period, we are providing language in all memoranda of agreement (MOAs) for longer agreement periods, should funds become available.

MOAs will begin to be distributed next week to the applicants in order to initiate the award process. We will hold all applications that are not funded for consideration in potential future rounds of funding, and we will notify all applicants that do not receive an award.

To date in 2019, NACD and NRCS have awarded grants totaling $9.9 million in 47 states and two territories, with three new states receiving funding this year: New Hampshire, South Dakota and Utah.

Please feel free to reach out to NACD staff with questions or consult the NACD website for details.
